Aria's Family

Students at Aria have an understanding of the world around them and their peers. They learn in an atmosphere of cooperation and respect as teachers and students work closely to develop their learning skills in all areas of their lives. We believe that children should have a rounded education which is equally balanced between educational skills and social development. Our classrooms reflect a peaceful, nurturing environment which encourages children to develop their internal sense of purpose and motivation.

Mr. and Mrs. Schofield-Smith, school principals, have over 20 years of experience working with children of varying ages. Originally from England, they used their Bachelors in Early Childhood Education with Honors, to develop a chain of successful schools. At Aria they have embraced the respected reputation which has been developed since its conception in 1913 and aim to build upon this taking the school into its hundredth year. The Aria teaching team is fully credentialed and experienced in delivering the Montessori curriculum to the wonderful students at our school.
